Sending Your Precious Memories: File Submission Tips
ULTRASOUND & EMBRYO FILES
A full size high-resolution photo or scan will give us the best quality piece.
To ensure that I can give your artwork the love and attention it truly deserves, I kindly ask that you send in one ultrasound/embryo image for editing. This way, I can focus on the finer details and deliver nothing short of stunning results.
Should you have additional images that you'd like me to work my magic on, not to worry! I’m more than happy to accommodate your requests. Please keep in mind that there will be a nominal fee for each extra image. Feel free to reach out, and I’ll provide you with all the details!
CD OF YOUR IMAGES:
1. You're good to go!
2. Upload your full size image right on product page, before adding to cart.
3. If you don’t have it handy at checkout, reply to your order confirmation email with the full-size file.
PHOTOGRAPHING IMAGE:
1. Use the highest quality camera setting.
2. Lay the photo flat and use natural light only.
3. Avoid glare and reflections – stick the image on a wall near a window to help.
4. Make sure the entire ultrasound is in the photo.
5. Zoom in to check for glare and sharpness – if the text is clear, so is the image.
6. If editing, set the image to 10 inches wide at 300dpi and save as a high-resolution JPG.
7. Upload the full-size image on the product page before adding to cart.
8. If you don’t have it handy at checkout, reply to your order confirmation email with the full-size file.
HEARTBEAT FILE OR IMAGE
This applies only to pieces without a QR code.
An audio file (mp3) of just baby's heartbeat is best. I can also use an image of the soundwave from your ultrasound – but it won’t be as clear as an audio file.
If sending a heartbeat image, please follow the ultrasound image instructions for scanning or photographing.
1. Upload your mp3 or heartbeat image on the product page before adding to cart.
2. If you don’t have your file ready at checkout, you can send it later by replying to your order confirmation email with your heartbeat file and ultrasound image.
Make sure your email program doesn’t resize images – send at full size.
HEARTBEAT WITH QR CODE
An audio or video file (mp3, mp4, mov, etc.) with at least 3 seconds of clear heartbeat sound is ideal. I will extract the best part and create a custom soundwave.
I cannot make a soundwave from a heartbeat image - only from an audio or video file.
1. Upload your file on the product page before adding to cart.
2. If you don't have it handy at checkout, you can send it later. Reply to your order confirmation email and attach your heartbeat file along with your ultrasound image.
BABY FOOTPRINT FILES
A high-resolution photo will give us the best quality print.
HOSPITAL STAMPED FOOTPRINTS:
1. Use highest quality camera setting.
2. Lay image as flat as possible.
3. Use natural light only!
4. Before sending, double check image for sharpness. Zoom in on your photo and check the quality. If the text is crisp, so is your image.
5. If you are using editing software, edit your image to 10 inches wide and 300dpi. Save as a high-resolution JPG.
6. Upload your full size image right on product page, before adding to cart.
7. If you don’t have it handy at checkout, reply to your order confirmation email with the full-size file.
CREATING YOUR OWN FOOTPRINTS:
1. Please use black or dark blue ink on white paper. No colored paper.
2. Washable, jumbo ink pads are available on Amazon.
3. Follow instructions above for taking and sending your image.
PREGNANCY OR BABY LOSS ANNOUNCEMENT
If including an ultrasound image on your announcement:
1. Upload your image right on product page, before adding to cart.
3. If you don’t have it handy at checkout, reply to your order confirmation email with the full-size file.
